When the temperature of the hydraulic system rises too quickly, the cause should be identified in time and measures should be taken to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The first two reasons mentioned above are caused by improper design and adjustment by the equipment manufacturer and should be remedied by the equipment manufacturer. The latter reasons are due to improper use and maintenance. The following mainly consider preventive measures and solutions for high oil temperature from the perspective of use and maintenance.

Select the viscosity and performance of hydraulic oil reasonably. The selection of hydraulic oil should be determined according to the recommended oil type in the equipment manual and the working place and environmental 

temperature of the equipment. Petroleum engineering equipment is often outdoor, with large wind and sand, large temperature difference, and harsh environment. Its hydraulic system should use hydraulic oil with good anti-wear performance, and low-temperature anti-wear hydraulic oil should be used in low-temperature environment.

Regularly change hydraulic oil and keep it clean. The performance of oil gradually deteriorates after use, so it should be replaced regularly, and external environmental pollution of hydraulic oil should be avoided.

Regularly clean the radiator. Debris, dust, floating objects, etc., affect the ventilation effect of the radiator, resulting in poor heat dissipation. It must be cleaned regularly to remove scale and ensure good ventilation.

Check if there are heat sources or poor ventilation around. Temporary heat sources can cause occasional high hydraulic oil temperature, and equipment too close around can cause poor ventilation and heat dissipation.

Use the equipment correctly. During use, do not overload, check regularly whether the oil level of hydraulic oil is appropriate, whether the oil temperature is too high, whether the fan belt is slipping, operate gently, and try to avoid impact.

The occurrence of high hydraulic oil temperature faults is not accidental, most of them have a slow development process, their own laws and reasons, operators and maintainers need to understand the working principle of the equipment, analyze and find the cause of the fault to find the method to eliminate the fault, and the same goes for other equipment faults.
